Inside Sales will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing sales leads for potential customers and Have an understanding of different fabrication/machining processes.. Additionally, this individual enters information on customers and potential customers into CRM, communicates with customers and potential customers, and works with other departments to help convert opportunities into orders for the company.
Essential Functions / Duties
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads.
- Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
- Ensure follow-up by following up on leads and passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, profile information, sources, etc.
- Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
- Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and emails.
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM platform.
- Works with the Estimating Department on complying with customers' needs and requirements.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Knows safety rules that apply to the safety of others and to personal safety. Reports the malfunction of equipment to proper authority. Performs other work as instructed by supervision.

Minimum Requirements
- Five or more years of direct work experience in a sales role.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have an understanding of different fabrication/machining processes.
- Ability to work efficiently with programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, challenging environment as an integral part of the sales team.
