The Account Manager is an integral team member and the primary customer interface for providing a variety of services, solutions, support, and information to our phenomenal customers. Winning and maintaining our customers’ trust, confidence, and long-term partnership is vital to our success. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, outstanding customer service, and a team-oriented mindset. They will work closely with cross-functional teammates including Field Engineering, Production, Inside Sales, and Customer Service to fully support our client’s needs. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Industry experience in one or multiple specified industries is helpful - Power, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, R&D, Clean Energy, Semiconductor, and General Industrial.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth and develop significant revenue by executing key strategic sales initiatives including Fabrication Services, New Products, Services, and Core Products.
- Establish deep customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers and develop a strong working knowledge of their processes, application, and business model.
- Develop and maintain territory (Southwestern Indiana/Central Kentucky) and account plans that are aligned with our company’s Strategic Plan.
- Prepare and deliver technical (application and product) presentations to audiences that consist of executives and engineers.
- Create and demonstrate a competitive distinction by identifying and implementing value and cost-saving initiatives designed to lower the customers' total cost of ownership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred (mechanical, chemical, or fluid technology)
- 3-5 years or more experience working in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred
- Technical experience in engineering, analytical instrumentation, automotive, alternative fuels, or ins similar industries is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Knowledge of a broad range of fluid system components and applications preferred
- Mastery and use of the Common-Sense Selling Process
- Creative and critical thinking skills
- Strong business acumen
