Tyto Athene is searching for a Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
- Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
- Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems
- Responsible for server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
- Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of general experience.
- 8 years of general work experience and 6 years of relevant IT experience with 4 years of administration and operations of servers
- Experience with supporting, operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure
- Must have a working knowledge of
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Microsoft Server 2012-2019
- Active Directory
Desired:
- Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure
- Linux administration
- Citrix Workspace and Apps
