JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and maintaining test equipment in EPDC / Mirror eye testing area. Responsible for maintenance in EPDC Facility.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reduce costs by looking for the most effective way to test products.
Test the least possible to increase test time, but at the same time assure product functionality.
Repair test equipment in production line.
Support production department as required.
Implement ECR.
Modify hardware to improve the test.
Software upgrades support.
Validate test equipment before introducing to production area.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE
Electronic Technician or Superior.
Three years’ experience working in Electronics area.
Experience with communications protocols GPIB, RS232, CAN and J1708.
Bilingual English/ Spanish 70%
Knowledge in digital and analogical Electronics
Knowledge of electronic PCB analysis
Knowledge of multimeter use
Basic knowledge of soldering
Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word y Power Point.
Ability to interact with personnel in other departments and work in a team environment to solve problems.
Work under pressure and be proactive.
Good communication skills
EPDC facilities general maintenance including:
Wall, floor, furniture paint and repairs.
HVAC Maintenance
Plumbing (water leaks and minor repairs)
Electrical repairs (outlets, breakers, wiring, lights replacements)
Operations repairs including signs, bend bins and layout tape replacement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work with computers and measurement equipment in office and production area. Occasional traveling required.
