DevOps Engineer
Our client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking company providing cutting-edge project management and analytics solutions. We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their team and help build and maintain their code base.
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports to: VP of Engineering
DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Develop, manage, and monitor continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other DevOps team members to ensure timely and successful software releases.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure for optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and operations.
- Implement and maintain version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage bi-weekly releases.
DevOps Engineer Qualifications:
- Must have experience with AWS infrastructure, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline or other CI/CD tools, Docker.
- Nice to have experience with MySQL, Tomcat, DocumentDB, ActiveMQ, Redis, and experience in construction or scheduling.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong focus on automation and Agile software development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to work effectively in ambiguity.
- Self-directed, highly organized, creative, and innovative.
