Manages the engineering function of an organization, including duties associated with planning engineering programs, reviewing design and method recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineering activities align with organizational objectives.
Job Duties:
- Administers operations in accordance with company's policies, priorities, and budget constraints set forth by senior management.
- Implements effective engineering methods and provides technical guidance and acts as a resource for engineers.
- Ensures components, materials, and tools are used to capacity.
Qualification:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
- Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of experience.
- 6 years experience in managing & leading a team of Engineers
- Technical experience with either Lithium Batteries, DC Power Supplies, Battery Chargers or any related field
