The Role: Senior Technical Accountant
- Working closely with the Manager of Technical and Derivative Accounting, this person will collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic insights on technical accounting matters
- Play a pivotal role in being the team lead for commodity derivative transactions
- Prepare reports or analysis in response to routine and non-routine reporting requirements/requests, including technical accounting matters
- Collaborate with and provide feedback and direction to Technical Accounting Analyst(s)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
- 5+ years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge of commodity derivatives and GAAP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
