Our client, a leading healthcare provider in South Florida, is looking for a Supervisor - Pharmacy Compounding.
Scope and Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and supervises all procedures, activities, and personnel for the safe handling, storage, and preparation of compounded products, including regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
Specific Responsibilities
- Supervise and enhance procedures for the safe handling, storage, and preparation of compounded products.
- Lead the training and development of pharmacy personnel, ensuring high standards of compounding practices.
- Oversee the management of technology and automation to optimize drug preparation and distribution.
- Ensure strict adherence to compounding policies, regulatory standards, and environmental controls.
- Drive process improvements for operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and inventory management.
Key Selection Criteria
- An Advanced Degree in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy) with a current Pharmacist License in the State of Florida.
- At least two years of relevant experience, with a preference for Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist certification (BCSCP). Willingness to achieve Board Certification within 6 months.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills. A commitment to excellence in customer service, medication safety, and quality assurance.
