Established company is seeking a Medical Bilingual Spanish Receptionist. Pay ranges from $20-23/hr.
Job Duties
- Greet patients and check them in.
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain and update patient records.
- Process insurance claims and verify coverage.
- Collect co-pays and payments from patients.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with other providers.
- Use EHR systems to manage patient data.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and EHR systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
- Optional: Certification as a medical receptionist or medical administrative assistant.
