Position Overview:
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Paralegal/Analyst to join their team in Quantico, VA. This role will support legal operations and investigative work related to the federal government. You will work closely with attorneys, government clients, and other team members to assist in legal research, documentation, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal research, case preparation, and analysis.
- Conduct thorough research on case law, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Prepare and organize legal documents, including briefs, memos, and reports.
- Review and manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with analysts and investigators on complex legal and operational matters.
- Analyze and summarize data related to cases or legal issues.
- Provide support in maintaining case tracking systems and databases.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to facilitate legal processes.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Political Science, or a related field.
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET federal security clearance.
- TWO (2) or more years of general litigation and legal analysis experience
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
