Workday HCM Consultant – 12-Month Contract

We are excited to partner with a leading healthcare organization embarking on a transformative journey to implement Workday HCM. We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Consultant for a 12-month contract, with a specialization in HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, and associated security and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, design, and deployment of core Workday HCM modules, including Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation/Advanced Compensation.
- Provide expert-level support for the healthcare client, ensuring smooth operation of Workday HCM functionalities during the implementation.
- Oversee the setup and customization of security roles within Workday HCM, ensuring appropriate access control for sensitive data.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to manage and monitor the data migration process, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of HR, payroll, and benefits data.
- Create and deliver advanced reports on key HR and payroll metrics, leveraging Workday’s reporting tools for actionable insights.
- Ensure alignment with healthcare industry regulations and practices during the configuration and setup process.
- Manage project milestones, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, and post-go-live support to ensure a seamless transition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, with specific expertise in Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation/Advanced Compensation modules.
- Proven experience with Workday HCM implementation in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Workday security and reporting functionalities, with demonstrated experience in configuring user roles and creating advanced reports.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, and IT departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex Workday HCM issues during the implementation process.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Workday Certification in HCM, Payroll, Benefits, or Compensation is a plus.
