JOB SUMMARY
The Principal Power Electronics Engineer will lead design teams focused on unique design projects and challenges in the power electronics domain. Typical projects will include power converters, chargers, inverters, energy storage systems, battery management systems, etc. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of developing such systems and launching them into production. He or she will be expected to demonstrate a level of expertise in power electronics design that matches or exceeds the expertise of customers, consult on system architectures, assess technical requirements and competencies needed during quoting and oversee design progressions during product developments. The candidate will mentor and lead others in the organization to build team members design capability.
LOCATION
This role will be part of a design team located in St. Petersburg, FL. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to relocate to the St. Petersburg area, and relocation assistance will be provided. However, a remote base may be considered for exceptional candidates who are willing to travel to the site as needed (up to 25%).
