Job Purpose: The Sales Director is responsible for achieving financial growth objectives, overseeing sales activities, and providing thought leadership within the retail vertical while leading and managing a team of sales resources. The Sales Director will lead strategic account/customer planning and sales execution, pipeline/forecast management, overall performance management, and provide industry expertise and market analysis for ongoing retail vertical development and advancement. The successful Sales Director will also lead and develop sales plans and strategies to economically achieve sales goals and provide insights
Essential Functions
- Responsible for overall sales success within the Retail Vertical as well as key customer relationship responsibility within the segment. (40%)
- Day to day management, development, and recruitment of successful Retail Vertical sales resources (Account Managers). (20%)
- Timely and accurate management of sales pipeline and forecasting. (20%)
- Lead and participate in account team reviews and strategy sessions geared at protecting existing business and driving new logo/revenue opportunities. (20%)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Experience
- Ten (10) years or more of Retail Vertical Experience/Sales/Management.
- Experience in IT Professional Services, IT Managed Services, or Product Resale preferred.
