Purpose: The data collected in this study will be used to train software that will be deployed in Smart Eye’s camera technology to develop completely innovative automotive safety experience.The data will be used to train AI models that can be deployed in future vehicles providing additional driver safety features. Please note this study will be conducted in our Waltham Lab.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants who elect to take part in our research studies must enter our test vehicles. They must also be comfortable being recorded with no facial mask for part of the recording. Participants who DO NOT feel comfortable with these terms should not apply.
Type of Activity: Participants will drive our outfitted test vehicle with multiple cameras set up. You must have a valid drivers license and feel comfortable driving for 3 continuous hours. For this study we will be asking you to report your level of drowsiness often.
Location: This study takes place in our Waltham AutomotiveLab located at 87 Beaver Street Waltham, MA 02453. Free parking is available (look for the sign that says Affectiva)
Compensation: $200 American Express gift card
Scheduling information: Please note this is a 3 hour drive but participants should expect to be done 4 hours after their start time.

Covid-19 Policy:For the safety of all study participants and Smart Eye lab staff we are only accepting persons who have been fully vaccinated. Masks are to be worn at all times, except when protocol starts. Participants must feel comfortable entering a non-moving vehicle without a mask.
Please do not schedule an appointment if you have symptoms of, have tested positive for, or have come in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
