Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at SHL Medical for the opening of our brand new state-of-the-art Medical Device Manufacturing company. This position will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, and will provide administrative support to various departments within the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management:
- Greet visitors and clients with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Provide administrative assistance to various departments, including scheduling meetings, booking travel arrangements, and preparing documents.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Coordinate office supplies and support equipment maintenance.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and external contacts.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Security and Access Control:
- Monitor visitor access and issue visitor badges as needed.
- Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative and/or receptionist support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handling of sensitive information
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft office, and other organizational systems
- Proven experience in organization and process implementation/improvement
