Product Marketing Head – Semiconductor Foundry Business
Criticality of the role to the business
The Head of Product Marketing for the Foundry Business will play a critical role in conducting market intelligence, helping to build a futuristic product portfolio and marketing the Foundry offering to support Tata Electronics’ growth plan and business objectives.
This role will be instrumental in developing product positioning, placement and messaging that differentiates the portfolio in the market.
About the business
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Deliverables
Market Intelligence:
- Conduct comprehensive market research (with analysts) covering market size (TAM, SAM), customer types, competitor offerings etc.
- Identify the product feature requirements of end customers and capture early industry/technology trends to help Tata Electronics develop product/technology portfolio roadmap
- Identify the new markets and opportunities to expand foundry offerings portfolio
- Equip sales and BD team with market research to effectively drive Account Based Marketing (ABM) approach for key target customers
Help Build Product portfolio:
- Translate market insights into product feature offerings that meet end-customer requirements by working with Design, Technology and Business Development teams
- Assist senior management with market analysis and business case to make long-term strategic decisions regarding the foundry product portfolio
- Drive the business case including market size, right time to enter, resources, demand, and pricing model to deliver a technology solution with returns consistent with Tata Electronics growth objectives
Marketing of the Foundry offering:
- Develop product positioning, placement and messaging that differentiates the portfolio in the marketplace
- Plan and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product. Create and deploy compelling presentation collateral to articulate the value of Tata Electronics' integrated solutions to the customers and end-users to drive adoption.
- Develop go-to-market plans, customer-facing presentations and positioning for new offerings
- Highlight Tata Electronics’ offerings with strong external presence at technology conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.

Essential Attributes
- This role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor technologies, foundry offerings, chip architectures, and end-customer requirements
- Skills: Market research, business analysis, strategic thinking, communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, and design to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives
Open for travel
Qualifications
MBA + Engineering/Technical undergraduate degree
Desired Experience Level
Appx. 15 years’ experience in relevant areas such as B2B marketing, product development, business development and sales
Proven experience in the semiconductor industry is must
