The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Sales Associate to join our new Flagship Penhaligon’s Boutique on Prince Street in Soho. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about luxury fragrances, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a flair for storytelling that can captivate our customers with the history and beauty of Penhaligon’s.

From conscionable collaborations with charities (whose beliefs we’re more than happy to hang our top hat on) to our Reuse & Make New service, Britain’s most esteemed fragrance house is putting its trust in the good sense we know best and following our noses to a brighter future.
What you’ll get to do:
- Greet and engage with customers, offering personalized service to help them discover our collection of fine fragrances and grooming products
- Become a brand ambassador by learning the full range of Penhaligon’s products, including new launches and heritage fragrances, and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers
- Drive sales by recommending suitable products based on customers' preferences and needs, while meeting or exceeding store sales targets
- Ensure the boutique is impeccably presented, with products displayed attractively and in line with Penhaligon’s standards
- Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and managing product displays
- Collaborate with the store team to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers, as well as help with any additional tasks as needed
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- Previous experience in retail, preferably within luxury or fragrance sectors
- Passion for high-end products and delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and create an immersive shopping experience
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to meeting sales targets
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as required
- A team player with a positive, outgoing personality
Compensation:
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 an hour. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
