JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of our data center infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, and networking devices..
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data center operations.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Maintain accurate documentation of data center assets, configurations, and changes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a data center or IT support role.
- Strong understanding of server hardware, storage systems, and networking principles.
- Knowledge of data center monitoring tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
