Description
As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will research, design, develop, test and oversee the the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial or military use.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop hardware systems and solutions in a corporate environment
- PWB design and specification, floor planning, test and verification, and troubleshooting
- Design and develop electrical systems for military applications, including power and communication systems
- Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, sub-system level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and transition to production
- Detailed analysis of circuit modeling, simulation, signal integrity, electrical stress and worst-case circuit analysis

- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a creative, innovative mindset
- High level understanding of product development lifecycle and experience in the development of hardware systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Electrical circuit design experience
- Circuit modeling and simulation experience
- Schematic capture experience
- Circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting experience
- Proficiency with schematic capture, and simulation tools (e.g., Spice, MATLAB, Python)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree in electrical engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in PCB design, including experience with PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence Orcad, Altium 360)
