Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Manager to lead and manage the Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) program across multiple operating companies (OpCos). The ideal candidate will oversee the entire process, from design and construction to device installation and integration with the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). This role involves coordinating with field and FLISR engineers, ensuring the quality of engineering work, and managing the program’s budget to ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Drive the FLISR program across multiple OpCos, leading the process from initial design and construction to device installation and integration with ADMS.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with field teams and FLISR engineers to monitor the programming and testing of protection devices, ensuring timely and effective completion.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of work at every stage of the engineering process, conducting gate checks to ensure compliance with standards.
- Support and Development: Develop and maintain job aids and resources to support various FLISR activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Budget Management: Proactively manage the program budget, ensuring it is completed within the guided variance and addressing any financial issues as they arise.
- Issue Tracking and Reporting: Track issues, maintain reporting processes, and escalate challenges to management for quick resolution to ensure the program stays on track.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, with experience in managing complex programs.
- Ability to work with engineering teams and oversee technical processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Experience with FLISR programs and ADMS integration is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues and collaborate with management.
