Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Senior Business Development Representative position. This position is a contract to direct hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Lake Mary, FL.
Summary
The Senior Business Development Representative (SBDR) is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for the company and being the team leader. This role involves researching potential clients, initiating outreach, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to qualify leads and set up meetings for account executives. The SBDR is a crucial part of the sales process, helping to drive growth and expand the company's customer base.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels (e.g., social media, databases, industry events).
- Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone calls, and other communication methods to introduce the company's products/services.
- Qualification: Engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, qualify leads, and assess opportunities for the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on target accounts and messaging.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate prospect information and track interactions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead generation efforts and progress towards targets.
- Follow-up: Manage and nurture relationships with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Team Leader: Lead current BDR team to fulfill goals and prepare reports to reflect the current lead efforts. Represent the team in management meetings and improve current processes.
- Reports: Build tracking systems to provide feedback to team members and support improvement strategies.
Qualified Candidates Should Have the Following:
- Associate's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- 5+ years of experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the industry and an understanding of market dynamics is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)
