This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Quality Systems. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should serve as the Project Manager for new projects focused on Quality Assurance which includes Supplier Quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
- Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures
- Lead in internal and external quality audits
- Coordinate new launch projects with customers
- Ability to travel to suppliers site to review process and quality buyoff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 to 5 years' of experience quality assurance within manufacturing environment
- Experience with implementing internal quality systems and scheduling audits
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, process and tools such as TS16949, PPAP and quality management systems (QMS)
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
