Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: East St. Louis, IL & Indianapolis, IN (90% Travel Required)

Are you a seasoned Construction Manager with a strong background in the chemical or industrial sectors? We are seeking a motivated individual to oversee projects across our chemical facilities in East St. Louis, IL and Indianapolis, IN. This role requires extensive travel (90%) and exceptional leadership to manage multiple sites and ensure on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule
- Site Management: conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
- Budget and Resource Management: oversee project budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost efficiency
- Team Leadership: lead and mentor on-site teams, fostering collaboration and performance
- Regulatory Compliance: ensure all activities meet local, state, and federal regulations
- Risk Management: identify potential risks and implement strategies to minimize impact on timelines and costs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5 - 7 years of construction management experience, ideally in the chemical or industrial sector
- Expertise in project management, budget control, and resource allocation
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and environmental compliance
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel extensively (90%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or CCM certification
- Experience with chemical processing facility construction
- Familiarity with Lean Construction principles
