Job position - Tricentis/Tosca Qtest Architect
Location – (Lisle, Illinois)
Job Description - Tricentis Qtest Test Automation Architect for their Digital Transformation Journey. As a Test Automation Architect, you will primarily be responsible for ownership of QTEST/TOSCA configuration and test management activities applications which includes, estimation and analysis of manual test cases, automation of manual test cases, execution of manual and automated test cases / scenarios, working with application development teams, and the Quality Center of Excellence (QCOE) in coordination with your activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation strategies and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Lead the implementation and execution of automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the test automation team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Customize and extend Tricentis Tosca functionalities to meet specific project requirements and enhance test automation capabilities.
- Integrate Tricentis Tosca with tools (Qtest for Test Management, ADO for Features/User stories) and systems within the software development lifecycle, such as CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking systems.
- Analyze test results and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in test coverage and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tricentis Tosca implementation and test automation processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 15 + years’ experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- 12+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Tricentis Tosca.
- Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation, such as Selenium, Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile development teams is mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Tosca Automation Engineer) is a mandatory.
