Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented full-time Sales Representative to focus on new business development. This role offers a unique opportunity to craft innovative sales strategies and build meaningful relationships with prospective clients.
This position involves working onsite from our headquarters in Mather, CA, with travel within the Sacramento region and occasional trips to San Jose.
Job Description:
- Conduct proactive cold calls, prospect, solicit, and schedule sales meetings for new clients primarily small to mid-sized businesses in the Sacramento area.
· Promote and sell CEAR’s electronics destruction and recycling services.
- Develop new business and sustain productive existing partnerships.
- Perform thorough new opportunity qualification through research, discovery meetings, and networking using both traditional and innovative methods.
- Manage client relationships, establishing CEAR as a trusted partner.
- Network within industry contacts, associations, and trade groups to generate leads and identify new business prospects.
- Collaborate with management to forecast sales, identify trends and challenges, and propose solutions.
- Address and handle client issues efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare persuasive customer presentations, proposals, service agreements, and reports ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Achieve sales goals by closing accounts and meet targets.
- Stay informed of product lines, competition, and industry trends affecting client businesses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years of Account Executive experience in technology services or a comparable sales services background.
- Experience in new business development is highly desirable.
- A BA/BS degree is preferred but not required.
- Confident, self-driven, and capable of working independently with a strong entrepreneurial drive for success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for engaging clients.
- Proven ability to secure new business through cold calling and lead generation.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, enhancing client satisfaction, and effective teamwork.
- Strong customer Service and Relationship management skills, open to feedback.
- A solid presence on social media platforms like LinkedIn is advantageous.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to craft strategic messages.
- Proficient in CRM management, business forecasting, and pipeline development.
- Strong internet research abilities and proficiency in PC applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Capable of lead generation and client prospecting through multi-months sales cycles.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Pay range: Starting at $75,000 depending on experiences plus performance incentives
