Description:
Mission Critical Facilities International, a Mission Critical Group Company, is hiring a Sr. Program Manager. The Sr. Program Manager leads large projects and programs ranging in size from $10M - $200M including activity planning, scheduling, technical reviews, time management of resources, purchasing, invoicing, change order management and financial success of the execution. This role leads the execution of large or strategic program execution teams in strict adherence to project technical, schedule and cost baselines.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and be responsible for achieving an annual Project Revenue and Gross Margin delivered target for the assigned major customer relationships including maintaining a specified as bid margin levels and labor to buyout bookings mix.
- Support the Project Delivery Organization in subcontractor selection and management.
- Develop and manage key and strategic relationships with vendors and/or subcontractors.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and technical field personnel and 3rd party suppliers in the implementation of Electrical Power Delivery, Equipment, and Modular systems in a wide variety of applications for a customer(s) at multiple locations.
- Projects (>$20M), act in a direct execution role as the primary customer interface responsible for the project/program schedule, technical and cost baselines and responsible for financial negotiations with the customer involving change orders and change directives.
- Provide frequent updates to management and customers for work status updates.
- Lead, develop and mentor the project management organization.
- Leads hiring, development, mentorship and advancement of the next generation of Project Managers.
- Promotes the development, implementation, standardization and execution of PMI-based methods, tools and processes.
- This role will require travel as needed to perform the job requirements.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- BSEE or BSME Engineering degree or equivalent practical work experience (electrical or mechanical trades) or educational background
- Minimum of 15+ years in industry, with 10 years in a supervisory role.
- PMP / PMI Certified with proven ability to execute PMI or equivalent project management methodologies, standards and systems.
- Expertise in technical disciplines (electrical, mechanical, controls)
- Understanding of Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting (Earned Revenue) based financials.
- Mastery of MS Project, Primavera or equivalent resource scheduling software
- CX Alloy or equivalent testing and commissioning documentation software
- Expertise in Risk Management and Mitigation Practices
- Budget and Expense Management expertise required.

- Think consequentially in all aspects of the major customer relationship including the ability to identify issues whether commercial, technical, or schedule related before they occur.
- Present project activity and financial updates on projects/applications to large audience of customers and/or associates.
Required Abilities:

Supervisor Requirements:
This position will be responsible for the indirect supervision of approximately 5-10 reports. The position is responsible for:
- The ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
- Partnering with HR to ensure policy compliance
- Provides feedback for performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Identify any training gaps and work closely with HR and Training to resolve them.
