Job Summary
Responsible for daily contact between the agency and client accounts. They promote a positive client relationship by understanding their clients’ needs and engaging the appropriate services of the agency to consistently exceed client expectations. The Account Executive ensures the timelines, cost-effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the agency’s work to promote a positive client relationship. He or she interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through the agency on behalf of the clients, participates in the development of strategic plans and is responsible for carrying out the plans daily. The best account executives thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; they enjoy building relationships and fostering high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Toyota and target audience knowledge - Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the client's business category and brand to contribute to planning and implementation of strategic programs. Manages client input and understands clients' target audience.
2. Client relationships - Maintains professional relationship with clients. Manages day-to-day execution of account projects. Anticipates clients' day-to-day and forecasted needs. Presents creative work to client. Participates and responsible for CAPS new business activities. Communicates concerns to CAPS Manager.
3. Clear communication - Secures information from client, interprets requests, documents in project system and provides information and direction to CAPS department for initiation of work. Manages internal communication by leading creative input meetings and participating in creative reviews. Provides status reports to clients when applicable.
4. Quality assurance-Makes recommendations for improving quality, timeliness and productivity, including developing solutions. Maintains responsibility for final proofreading of creative work and account team correspondence prior to client presentation. Receives client signature approval of work.
5. Work scope/budgets-Properly scopes work to ensure accurate estimating. Collaborates with project management and creative team on final estimate/budget. Reviews and presents estimates to clients, and monitors project budgets and ensures projects are completed within budget.
6. Continuous learning- provide marketing expertise through a commitment to continuous professional learning.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business communications, public relations, business administration or equivalent
· One to two years of advertising agency or equivalent marketing experience where excellent client/customer service has been critical to job function
· Proficient marketing communications planning and integrated marketing campaign development
· Experience coordinating program details with internal teams and clients including budget planning, timeline development and performance measurement
Skills Required
· Must possess superior written and verbal communication/presentation skills
· Must have attention to detail, be well organized, able to meet deadlines, and able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy
· Must be able to manage multiple contacts (clients and partners) and projects seamlessly
· Must possess strong interpersonal skills
· Must possess proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Workamajig project management software knowledge a plus
