As a Senior Sales Executive, the candidate will have responsibility for driving the identification, development, and capture of IT Solution opportunities in the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting market assessment and strategic planning and will have played a demonstrated hands-on role in net-new revenue attainment. The individual should have strong communication skills with the ability to consult effectively with DOJ clients and Industry representatives at all levels.
Only those candidates with prior experience successfully selling and/or delivering services within the DOJ will be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Existing relationships within DOJ/DEA; Experience managing business development and/or delivery efforts; Solid knowledge of the competitive landscape, including an understanding of key contract vehicles used; Established relationships with relevant DOJ/DEA clients and potential teaming partners; Experience supporting different aspects of the sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes.
Ability to partner with alliance/channel partners to craft and support the sale of solutions; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Experience creating and providing inputs for proposal content; Ability to create and communicate value propositions and engage DOJ clients consultatively.
Job Level Specific Duties & Skills:
- Oversees and manages the pipeline of qualified DOJ/DEA opportunities in line with NTT DATA’s overall sales and growth strategy.
- Identifies and researches top opportunities, developing detailed capture and strategies driving sufficient demand to meet annual quotas/targets.
- Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA’s services/offerings and understanding of DOJ’s business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions/offerings/capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build sales forecasts, establish priorities and keep cross-functional teams focused on sales goals.
- Strong influencing, presentation, and professional sales skills.
- Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships.
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires 10+ years relevant Sales/Business Development experience – less experience will be considered based on demonstrated success record.
- Existing relationships within the DOJ/DEA marketplace.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
