Overview:
As a Maintenance Logistics Specialist, you will manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, and budget tracking based on best practices and company policies. You will also manage the implementation of inventory tracking and centralizing cost analysis for purchasing of supplies. You will be responsible for utilizing complex Microsoft Excel and Access programming to monitor current expenditures to simplify budget tracking for the departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management to include managing the process of gathering currently held inventory to add to Maintenance Connect, implementing an inventory tracking process to ensure supplies are charged to the correct departments.
- Work with Maintenance Admin and departments to streamline the requisition and ordering process.
- Track and receive orders from vendors to ensure accuracy of packing list and original order.
- Research cost of supplies for cost analysis to ensure Cedar Point receives the best available pricing and find ways to reduce cost and maintain quality of supplies.
- Supports division and department leadership with budget tracking by creating complex spreadsheets to deliver easy to read and understand information to the end user and to ensure company financial targets are met and any overages are accurately accounted for and justified.
- Investigates and pursues resolution for vendor product and service issues when requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced in MS Office Word Excel, and Access.
- Ability to assist in keeping the Engine House within budget.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
