What You Need:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-3 years of experience in a Supervisory role, in fast paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
LEAN Six Sigma training (5S) highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
What Your Role Will Look Like as Production Supervisor
As a Production Supervisor on our Solid Dosage team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring GMP quality standards, plant safety, and optimal manufacturing productivity within the department. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of operators and technicians, taking ownership of daily production activities, equipment set-ups, adjustments, and repairs. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvements, and mentor a motivated workforce in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach operators to ensure all SOPs are followed, while addressing and documenting any violations.
- Drive production by overseeing machine operation, troubleshooting, and adjusting equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Ensure product quality by conducting regular inspections and monitoring process parameters during changeovers.
- Champion a continuous improvement culture by identifying and implementing process, machinery, and efficiency enhancements.
- Develop and manage a capable, flexible workforce by providing training, feedback, and cross-training opportunities.
- Monitor and appraise employees’ performance, delivering constructive feedback to support professional growth.
- Actively contribute to a safe working environment by ensuring safety protocols are in place and incidents are documented.
