As the PCS and BESS Sales Manager for Delta’s Energy Infrastructure Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy and expanding our market presence. Leveraging your deep understanding of the energy transition (Utility and C&I scale PCS and BESS), particularly in Energy infrastructure, you will capitalize on opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with Clients:
- Identify and connect with potential clients in the renewable energy sector, including those involved in utility and C&I scale battery energy storage, PV inverters, DC fast chargers, fleet electrification, and public charging networks.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, investors, project developers, EPCs, and system integrators.
Sell Solutions:
- Master Delta’s range of products and services, including PCS, BESS, PV inverters, and DC fast chargers.
- Tailor and present solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, demonstrating how our offerings solve their specific challenges.
Develop Sales Strategies:
- Craft and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new market opportunities to keep Delta at the forefront of the energy transition.
Manage Your Pipeline:
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.
- Provide insightful analysis to leadership to drive informed decision-making.
Collaborate Across Teams:
- Work closely with customer service, engineering, product management, and operations to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance overall team performance.
Negotiate and Close Deals
- Lead contract negotiations and manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to final closure.
- Ensure all deals are aligned with Delta’s strategic goals and deliver maximum value to our clients.
Support Our Customers:
- Offer exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Coordinate with service, engineering, and customer support teams to address any issues that arise during solution implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales roles within the Energy Infrastructure, with a focus on PCS, BESS, PV inverters, and/or DC fast charger products and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong technical understanding of Energy Infrastructure products and solutions relevant to the Renewable industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with utility scale contracts.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to Energy Infrastructure industry.
Existing network of contacts within the industry.
