Job Description
The purpose of this position is to engage and create excellent events for our financial services company as we present to prospective clients throughout the US. Being confident and organized while overseeing a fast-paced environment is key.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Financial Industry experience preferred
• 2+ years working in and around live events in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent ability to prioritize workflow.
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly
This position requires that you possess the following skills:
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Excel at making things fun and inviting for our guests
• Proactive in executing tasks and events as opposed to reactive
Responsibilities/Tasks:
The Events Coordinator will be expected to have consistent follow-through with all efforts, build relationships with prospects and clients, and help prepare the Advisor for successful meetings after the events have happened. Other daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks may include:
• Making reminder calls for events in a welcoming. friendly manner
• Oversee setup and execution of events each month
• Input notes into CRM and keep updated
• Coordinate and follow up on each event with the rest of the marketing team
• Maintain a flexible schedule based on events scheduled each month
• Maintain professional communication with clients and staff
• Be willing to help in another department as needed
• Assist other marketing efforts in other cities as needed
• Act as a phone back-up to other office personnel for phone coverage

Position Details
Commitment:
• 40-hour workweek, typically Monday through Friday. Additionally, you will be expected to work 6-8 weeknights per month, with events typically wrapping up around 9:00 PM. Up to 4 of these events may involve out-of-market travel. Each week you have an event, you will receive that Friday off.
• Driving is a necessity, as travel is required for events.
Compensation:
Starting salary range is $52,000 to $56,000, plus full medical and dental benefits and a generous retirement benefit plan. All Holidays off, including your birthday and a few other special days within the company!
