Description:
- The Cloud Platform Team is seeking an innovative and passionate individual who can assist in the design, implementation, testing, support and debugging of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- The candidate should have hands on experience developing and deploying full-stack applications with cloud-native technologies in AWS.
- In this role you will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our cloud environments.
Must Have:
- This role will be focused on Tool maintenance
- Knowledge of Python
- Data Engineering knowledge
- Deep knowledge of AWS
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy applications hosted on AWS cloud technology
- Deliver software components including Planning, Design, Development, & Testing.
- Lead the implementation of monitoring using various tools, collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and cloud-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Research and recommend new solutions based on the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Participate in an agile delivery process
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to fellow team members
- Interact directly with partner teams and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Preferable Certifications: AWS certified cloud developer or relevant certifications
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
- Hands on experience with AWS including one or more of Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, and RDS
- Experience writing, testing and maintaining Golang applications
- Experience developing containerized & serverless microservices
- Ability to write, test, and debug Python APIs using frameworks such as Flask, and FastAPI
- Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective
- DevOps process experience with tools such as Gitlab
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and HC Terraform
Salary Range:
- The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $135,000 annually.
- Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
