Your New Role
As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, including managing subcontractors, labor crews, and equipment.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the project team, including interpreting blueprints and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and progress updates.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in construction management software, and a solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications are preferred.
