Your Role:
As the Environmental Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with environmental regulations and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive environmental management systems
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on environmental regulations
- Conducting environmental audits and inspections
- Managing air, water, waste, and landfill compliance programs
- Developing and implementing training programs
- Coordinating emissions testing and sampling
- Collaborating with site leaders on incident investigations and corrective actions
- Contributing to environmental cost projections and budgets
- Communicating with regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, REM) are a plus
