Account Manager – Power Tools
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; use insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports; analyze sales data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitive products; effectively communicate the value proposition of our power tools to customers.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to sales team members; ensure they are knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and company policies.
- Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional events, trade shows, and product demonstrations to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies; collaborate with product development and customer service teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the power tools or related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
- Strong understanding of power tools products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of sales management experience specifically within the power tools sector.
- Experience with large scale account management and history of building and maintaining high-value customer relationships.
- Experience in handling complex sales cycles and negotiations with major clients.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.
- Deep knowledge of power tools, including their technical specifications.
- Experience in managing sales for international markets or working with global teams.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Degree Level: Bachelors
Field: Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
