About the Role…
We are looking for a Business Development Representative for a contract role, focused on supporting our clients in Boston, MA. This position will be based out of our Campbell, CA office, operating on a hybrid schedule. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to gain experience in sales. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills, a competitive spirit, and a strong work ethic.
You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop skills in business development and client relationship management. We’re looking for someone who embodies DeWinter’s culture of integrity, relationship-building, and having fun.

Responsibilities:
Client Outreach & Engagement:
- Build and maintain comprehensive client marketing campaigns.
- Utilize research and marketing tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Bullhorn, SourceWhale).
- Manage organized and consistent client outreach efforts.
- Engage prospective clients to identify interest in DeWinter Group services.
- Schedule client meetings to discuss staffing solutions.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify key client contacts.
- Stay informed on market trends in finance and accounting.
- Analyze competitive data to inform business development strategies.
Sales Support:
- Assist with sales materials to support client acquisition efforts.
- Collaborate with senior team members on sales strategies.
- Follow up with potential clients to progress through the sales pipeline.
Relationship Building:
- Build strong relationships with internal colleagues and prospective clients.
- Provide thoughtful communication to engage and attract potential clients.
Documentation Support:
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, market research, and business development activities in Bullhorn.
Networking & Industry Engagement:
- Attend industry events and webinars to expand your network and knowledge.
- Represent DeWinter in a professional manner and promote our services.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Previous internship or work experience in sales, business development, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting is a plus.
