We are seeking a driven and experienced Founding Account Executive to be the face of SumIt and work closely with our CEO to accelerate revenue growth.

As a founding account executive, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and building relationships with some of the most influential financial decision-makers in the world. What You’ll Do:
- Know SumIt inside out to showcase its value to prospects (in person and live video demo)
- Actively manage your pipeline from outreach, intro, demo, to quote and closing
- Build top of funnel through cold and warm outreach
- Represent SumIt at conferences and events, building relationships with potential clients
- Provide key market feedback to shape product development and our go-to-market strategy
- Partner with the CEO to define best practices and sales processes
You Are:
- A relationship builder who thrives on making meaningful connection
- Skilled at navigating multi-step complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Nuanced and conciliatory while always closing deals
- Adaptive - you do something, you learn, you get feedback, and you apply it
- Eager to have an outsized impact on the business as a key player in an early-stage startup
- Detail oriented (much like our clients who are CFOs, controllers, and accountants)
- Metrics-driven with a focus on delivering measurable results
- Proactive, proactive, and proactive
Qualifications:
- 4-5+ years of full-cycle B2B software sales experience
- Proven ability to connect with key stakeholders, from executives to end-users
- Familiarity with navigating and managing CRMs (We use Hubspot)
- Experience selling into family offices or accounting firms with a high net worth practice is strongly recommended.
- Background in accounting (e.g. CPA) would be a big plus
- Willingness to travel and represent SumIt at conferences
