Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining frequent communication with and input from all relevant parties to ensure that project plans are being met
- Ensuring all documentation is in place to begin and continue invoicing in a timely manner
- Ensuring all contract terms are complied with in the execution of the work and for monitoring the project for changes for which change orders will be negotiated and executed in a timely manner per the terms of the contract
- Understanding customers’ requirements as accommodated by a proposal and creating project schedules to meet said requirements with the input of the appropriate functional areas of the operation
- Facilitating meetings for the purpose of conveying necessary information and establishing the necessary plans to ensure the successful outcomes of all projects
- Managing teams of precast designers to deliver drafting solutions on multiple projects, on budget
- Participating in the pricing of precast work and assisting in the proposal and sales efforts of the Precast Division
- Coordinating drafting team activities necessary to complete projects
- Assuring the quality of work performed by structural designers and sub-consultants
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business or comparable work experience related field
- Minimum 3-5 years' exposure to engineering and/or operations
- Experience in the design or detailing of Precast Concrete systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT & TEKLA experience a plus
- Proven management and leadership skills
- Ability to work on multiple, consecutive projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
