OverviewOn site position.
General direction, coordination and guidance of the Satellite, IV Center and Outpatient pharmacists as legally and / or professionally required to aid them in the effective and efficient handling of investigational protocols and medications. Serves as the liaison for all clinical research issues. Duties and responsibilities include overseeing the handling and distribution of all investigational medications.
QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Graduation from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
2. Masters or PharmD degrees is preferred.
3. Previous experience with coordinating the handling of investigational drugs is required.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Thorough understanding of all laws, regulations, and standards relating to investigational drugs.
6. Ability to plan, organize and control diverse and complicated systems and related tasks for effective personnel management.
7. Knowledge and/or aptitude in the field of inter-personal relationships.
8. Knowledge of contemporary institutional pharmacy practice techniques.
9. Knowledge and/or understanding of general hospital operations.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same
