We are looking for:
A dedicated therapist for our dual diagnosis division who is passionate about making a tangible difference in patients' lives. The ideal candidate will bring experience from the fields of substance abuse and mental health, demonstrating both individual and group therapy proficiency. Ability to function efficiently as an individual and within a team, providing holistic, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Facilitate comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic summaries.
- Provide individual therapy sessions.
- Facilitate group counseling, education, and meetings as outlined in the program.
- Embrace a multidisciplinary approach in treatment planning.
- Oversee treatment services for the designated patient caseload.
- Engage in in-service training and supervisory meetings.
Qualifications:
- Registered Therapist status (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent).
- Hold a Master’s degree.
- A minimum of 1 year's clinical experience, focusing on substance abuse and recovery.
- Working knowledge of the 12 steps
- Demonstrated skill in planning and leading psychotherapy groups.
- Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatments.
- Proficiency in suicidality assessment and safety planning.
- Knowledge of DSM 5 diagnoses.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
