As a Financial Advisor with Peak American Financial, you'll help clients achieve PEAK performance in retirement and change their “probability of winning” by providing sound financial advice including investments, financial planning, legacy planning, and life and annuity solutions. The best part is that we support you in ways that are unheard of in the industry.
Your PEAK Team will provide you with extensive support, working alongside you to close new business and support your existing book. PEAK will pay for direct and indirect marketing for lead generation, and enable you to grow as fast as you can. You will have your own in-house investment and planning team, backed by a dynamic group of industry leaders including CFA’s, seasoned market strategists, and media personalities appearing on outlets such as Fox Business News, Bloomberg and CNBC. We offer a UHNW investment platform that’s cost effective and competitive with the largest investments and wealth firms on the street.
We are looking for quality talent who will be committed to our PEAK Performance Philosophy and someone who wants to be a part of our dynamic investment team. We are a high-performing culture, helping our advisors produce $20-$40 million in sales per year. The “cookie cutter” corporate mentality types that want to work 9-5 would be a better fit for our competitors, but not here at PEAK. Advisors should expect to earn $200k+ first year, and $300k - $400k within the first three years.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Presentation skills and the ability to connect with prospective clients. Including public speaking at large education seminars.
- Calling on digital leads that will be provided to you by the firm (5-10 a week) and executing a marketing and communications strategy to close new business for wealth management including life and annuity sales.
- Schedule and conduct financial planning and advice meetings and follow ups with clients and client prospects.
- Quarterly ongoing client service meetings that build deep and meaningful relationships to provide solutions that support their financial goals as their life evolves.
- Build a book of business over the long-term that can offer you significant payouts and the freedom you deserve as your career progresses to live life the way you desire.
- Follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when serving clients and prospects and performing all work-related activities.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of work experience in one or more of the areas of the financial industry including wealth advisory, investments, asset management, wholesaling, client service, institutional or retail investment sales, insurance, and financial planning.
- Proven track record interfacing with clients in consultative setting.
- Experience conducting live financial workshops, or exceptional presenting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for digital sales over the phone or via Teams
- Ability to follow a proven sales process and stay organized.
- Familiarity working within a CRM, planning tools, Microsoft Office Business Suite
- Strong sales acumen.
- Solid investment knowledge and passion for the markets including key financial planning topics.
- History of building strong relationships and delivering superior client service.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not now or in the future require sponsorship for visa status.
- Strong preference for the State IAR Series 65 or ability to obtain required licenses within 90 days of hire:
- State IAR (Series 65 or Series 66)
- State Life, Health Insurance and Variable Products lines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year college degree, or equivalent
- Demonstrate a can-do spirit and a desire to succeed in a performance-oriented environment.
