Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will help maintain an active online and social media presence for the company to attract and retain clients and temporary employees. They will also provide marketing and recruitment administrative support to the Senior Director of Marketing to assist in the growth of the company’s marketing efforts and brand awareness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Digital Marketing Tasks:
- Assists the Senior Director of Marketing with various digital marketing and campaign related needs including creating concepts and deliverables, posting, monitoring, analyzing and optimizing campaigns.
Social Media and Online Presence:
- Maintains an active social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) increasing engagement and brand awareness.
- Works with marketing team to coordinate social media and ad campaigns.
- Proposes new ideas for social media and create dynamic written, graphic, and video content tailored to audience/platform.
- Responds to all website contact form submissions.
- Responds to reviews on Yelp and Glassdoor pages.
- Develops new online strategies with the Senior Marketing Director for recruitment efforts and employee engagement.
- Creates blog content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Analyzes and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
- Pulls analytics and other reports for the Senior Director of Marketing and CEO to monitor advertising effectiveness and ROI.
- Coordinates with Senior Director of Marketing for monitoring of website traffic, conversions, SEO and Google AdWords.
Marketing Team Collaboration:
- Assists in updating monthly content calendars & populating with finalized elements.
- Assists with coordinating relationship managers marketing requests.
- Assists with e-blast marketing planning, setup, & scheduling using Constant Contact.
- Assists with proofing and editing content, ads, e-blasts, and other collateral.
- Promotes recruiting events via social media and job boards.
Other Marketing Related Tasks:
- Ships, organizes, & keeps inventory of marketing materials and promotional items.
- Participates in weekly marketing meetings, communicating any digital marketing updates, taking notes, sending a follow-up summary, and tracking on Marketing project management platform.
- Miscellaneous document formatting and design.
- Assists marketing team with various tasks, projects, and events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe CC, Project Management Software, Social Analytics Sites, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn on the go.
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Creative and intuitive outlook.
Required Education & Experience:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, or related field preferred.
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Canva, and/or Constant Contact experience a plus, Google Analytics Certified a plus.
- Copywriting for SEO/PPC experience a plus.
