Our client is a market leader in the food and packaging industry with a global presence over 120 countries, 100+ manufacturing facilities and revenues c.$6bn. They have been growing exponentially through both organic and inorganic growth in the US and globally, and are looking for top talent at some of their critical locations.
As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for two sites in the South East region of the US. You will be leading the manufacturing operations, quality, safety, HR, supply chain, continuous improvement and technical teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes and implementing innovative technologies to drive improvements across the supply chain - from customer to internal productivity, quality and safety.
The Plant Manager will model their Leadership capabilities for growth and will demonstrate a focus on talent development and upskilling of the team to ensure succession and embody 100% leadership engagement.
The right candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization and ideally come from a continuous process manufacturing background.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred
· At least 10-15 years of manufacturing experience with 3-5 years in plant leadership with P&L responsibility
· A history of hiring, growing and promoting talent within the organization
· Formal lean training is essential and a strong background in Continuous Improvement, and Lean methodologies is also preferred
· Experience successfully designing and leading change within an organization
