Haugland Group has an immediate need for a Chief of Staff with familiarity of power infrastructure projects, and civil engineering.
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and successful Chief of Staff to support our COO as we execute our ambitious vision of developing the infrastructure of tomorrow. Reporting directly to the COO, the Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction, ensuring clear and effective internal and external communication, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

KEY FUNCTIONS
- Partner closely with the COO and the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments and driving execution from inception to completion
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO
- Manage executive-level meetings, including agenda setting, presentation preparation, and follow-up.
- Function as a liaison between the COO and other departments, facilitating communication, coordination, and alignment on strategic priorities
- Represent the COO and the company in external meetings, conferences, and other engagements as needed
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Track and follow up on key deliverables at the executive team and senior staff level
- Manage confidential data, including sensitive business, financial and personnel information
- Lead and Coordinate Special/Strategic Projects
- Manage top priority initiatives that require cross-disciplinary implementation, particularly across multiple departments and levels
- Act as a liaison between field support and project management to Operations leads
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in construction management with experience in power infrastructure projects or Civil Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (or considerable relevant Trade Union experience)
- Effective communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic
- Strong leadership, initiative, management, and people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize important tasks over others
- Ability to analyze and compile a large amount of data and produce conclusive results

The compensation range for this role is 175-200k.
