A well-established Investment Firm is looking for an experienced Executive IT Desktop Support Technician to be onsite in their midtown Manhattan office. This role is responsible for providing on-site Executive IT Deskside Support. The successful candidate should have experience providing support for C-Suite executives and excel in end-user support, has a strong presence, communicates effectively, is passionate about delivering exceptional service, and takes ownership to resolve issues promptly. This position is 5 days a week (Mon. - Fri.) onsite in their Manhattan office and they provide excellent pay and benefits (insurance, vacation, 401K, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide on-site Level 1 & Level 2 support to the Executive Team and their staff
- Provide support for all technology needs of Executives and their staff, including mobile devices, desktops, laptops, tablets, and video conferencing used in the office, in transit, at home, and during travel.
- Provide O365 support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other productivity tools.
- Act as a technology specialist focusing on understanding executive requirements and providing for their technology needs.
- Providing on-site installation of Desktops, Laptops, Printers, etc.
- Provide Printer support
- Act as a liaison with the MSP (Managed Service Provider).
- Research technology solutions and advise the executives on all things IT.
- Be part of a team performing on-site projects involving implementations, refreshes, and deployment of Desktops, Switches, Firewalls, and access points (great opportunity to learn and grow).
- Assist with network and server upgrades and general support (great opportunity to learn and grow).
- Respond, track, resolve, and own end-to-end issues for Management and their staff. Facilitate full documentation of any issues. Have a full profile capture of each executive's technology needs.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical individuals.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENTS:

- Active Directory and basic group policy
- Printer Administration
- Imaging and migration of end users to new equipment
- Ticketing systems such as ConnectWise Manage (preferred but not required)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+/Net+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are a plus.
- 5 + years of Desktop Support experience
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
