This position will provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for all mechanical equipment associated with midstream natural gas production facilities. This position performs regular preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment overhauls and equipment change outs as needed to support the operations teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and upkeep of all types of natural gas driven & electric driven compression, as well as generators and other small horsepower engines
- Must have maintenance and overhaul experience with large Horsepower reciprocating compressor package with Waukesha VHP drivers, Caterpillar 3500 and 3600 drivers and Ariel frames, Ajax, Screw compressors, VRG and 3300 Caterpillar
- Must be able to operate a compressor station, assist w/ ESD systems and filling out daily logs, maintain good housekeeping, & following safety protocols
- Manages a spare parts and materials inventory in an economical and prudent manner
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings, maintenance records, maintenance procedures, equipment drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Knowledge of all safety aspects of electrical trouble shooting and maintenance
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision
- Work a regular 4 day/10-hour schedule with call outs on some nights and weekends
- Ability to work in a team environment
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 5-15 yrs of experience. Include references.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to call outs as needed
- Solid computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
- Must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies
- Must be able to work rotating shift
- Must be available to work in increment weather
- Must be physically able to lift >50 lbs and climb ladders/stairways
Compensation details: 80000-95000 Yearly Salary
