Process Engineer
QUAD is currently seeking a Process Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturer locatednear North Wales, PA. Local candidates only.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for effectively identifying and resolving process issues, tracking and improving process areas downtime, capital spending oversight, and continuous improvement processes identification and execution.
Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
- Manage reliability improvements development and implementation
- Oversee root cause failure analysis process and maintenance techniques
- Develop cost reduction and profit improvement KPIs
- Perform equipment design, coding, implementation, and changes testing
- Complete projects and metrics prioritization and implementation plans
- Oversee capital project activities, including preparation, submittal, and implementation
- Manage improvement opportunities (area process, reliability, productivity)
Skills/ Competencies:
The ideal Process Engineer will possess these skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years plastics or chemical facility experience, with thorough knowledge of chemical engineering principles
- Project management and process improvement skills, with emphasis on process control systems and automation experience
- Production management experience preferred
- Strong communications kills
- PLC programming and operations knowledge
Additional Details:
Salary: To $110K
Employment Type: Direct Hire
