About the Role:
Seeking a highly experienced Workday Financial SME (ideally 10+ years of experience). Overarching need is for Financials SME to assist with process improvements, FDM optimization, and documentation. Review and Recommend areas to streamline business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current Workday Financials configuration and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead client through the migration of separate business units into Workday.
- Bringing 2 separate business units onto their Workday instance 1/1. One is currently using NetSuite, the other is only using QuickBooks.
- Supplier invoices, records and refunds needs to be cleaned up/ streamlined
- Revenue recognition and spend categories need to be cleaned up
- Ideally looking for someone with 10+ years of experience
- Proficient with Adaptive and reporting.
- Understand integration requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the internal Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage workload and address implementation challenges (originally went live in 2021 but wasn't a smooth project and have been working to optimize system ever since).
- Provide high-level guidance and strategic recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Workday Financials system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Workday Financial SME with a strong track record in diagnosing and optimizing Workday Financials environments.
- Experience with supplier invoices, records and refunds.
- Experience with revenue and spend categories
- Experience with worktags
- Workday projects (module) experience
- Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning
