Position Title: Payroll Process SME – III (Senior)
Location: Rahway, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 03+ Months Contract on w2
NOTE:
• Candidates should be Local to Rahway, NJ.
• This will be a Hybrid position with the external worker on-site for 3 days Monday through Thursday (strong preference for Monday-Wednesday), work from home on other days.
Responsibilities:
• The selected individual will not be processing payroll.
• Will need understanding of underlying processes and how these can be applied at ***.
• Individual would be expected to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
• Selected individual will partner with team to review processes and recommend best practices and industry knowledge.
• Should be able to utilize knowledge of both leadership and hands-on experience to provide consultant-style, end-to-end, payroll process improvement guidance.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8+yrs of applicable experience
Required:
• Knowledge of ADP Technology ev6, Workday, MS Office
• Candidate would need to be subject matter expert (SME) in ADP functionality
• Experience working with large global organizations (Position will be U.S. focused so experience with large organizations within the U.S. is the priority).
• Experience providing guidance on payroll best practices (i.e. knowledge of variance reports and other “checks and balances”)
• Experience speaking with vendors (i.e. ADP, E&Y, Fidelity)
• End-to-End payroll processing experience
